I once learned some basic beading skills and began making some rudimentary pieces. I taught myself a few things, made some stuff up along the way, yet my pieces are still a bit crude.

The black piece in the center is an example of something I just figured out one day, linking little pieces of wire. The outer piece is done with a heart-shaped toggle clasp which I regret using because it does not work well with the obsidian I used. I made the yellow piece to go with an Easter dress which later became my wedding dress. Alas, it did not fit me any longer when I got married.

Hi Laurel,
I wouldn’t say your pieces are crude! They are lovely! I hope you continue to bead.
